Another day, another 48 temperature records broken across BC

It’s been a record-breaking week in British Columbia.

After 32 temperature records were broken on Monday, 42 were erased on Tuesday and that number somehow got even higher on Wednesday.

Another 48 temperature records were broken on Wednesday as a March heatwave continued across B.C.

Once again, there was a tie for B.C.’s hot spot as Squamish and Hope both capped out at 25.9°C.

There were some historic records broken as well, as 13 of the records broken had been standing for over a century.

That includes, once again, the Victoria Harbour area, which beat the old record set in 1878 (14.4°C) by nearly 6°C.
