The Toronto Raptors bested the Golden State Warriors in an absolute nail biter of a game on Thursday night to pull off a 114-110 victory.
Despite being underdogs for the entire series, the Raptors kept pace with the defending champions matching them shot for shot in a Game 6 that saw 18 lead changes before the buzzer.
The 2019 Finals MVP was rightfully awarded to Kawhi Leonard after the superstar carried the Toronto squad through the entire playoffs.

However, Game 6 proved to be a complete team effort with Pascal Siakam leading the team along with vetern Kyle Lowry in scoring with 26 points.
Fred Vanvleet poured in 22 points off the bend and played a pivotal role guarding Warriors superstar Steph Curry throughout the series.
Back in Toronto, Jurassic Park outside of Scotia Bank arena was once again packed to the brim with excited fans eager to let loose for their city’s first championship.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made a point to mention that basketball was invented in Canada and now the league's championship will finally make its return back to the north.
