A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a BC man accused of possessing child pornography and committing voyeurism.
Michael Gordon Lowry, 69, was arrested in November 2019 in the Lower Mainland.
He was alleged to have been involved in “several incidents of suspected voyeurism” carried out at a home in Nanaimo in August 2019, the RCMP said.
Electronics were seized from Lowry after those incidents and, police said, evidence was found to support the allegations.
After he was arrested, however, Lowry was released pending a court appearance in Nanaimo.
He recently missed a court appearance, prompting the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
Police provided the following description of Lowry:

They also provided a photograph of Lowry from November 2019.
