If BC is known for one thing, it might be its treacherous mountain terrain.
The TV show "Highway Thru Hell" has made note of that in recent years, filming much of their hit series in the province. This week, the show was spotted filming on the Trans Canada Highway in Revelstoke to document the avalanche team.

"They are documenting how our crews and the MOTI avalanche team ensure the Trans Canada Highway remains safe from avalanche hazards through Three Valley Gap," wrote Emcon Services Inc.
Emcon then showed the crew some avalanche work at the gap from the Wyssen avalanche towers.
The show's ninth season aired from October 2019 into the new year. A release date for season 10 has not yet been announced.
