The Okanagan was well represented at the Canadian Nationals Swim Meet in Winnipeg this weekend.
In what was the KWIC’s final meet of the season, with just four swimmers from the club travelling to the high-level competition.
Para swimmer Patrick Waters made the finals in the 100m breast and swam to a fifth place finish.
He’ll now gear up for the Para Pan-Am Games in Lima, which are Aug. 28-31.
Cameron Chambers, also a para swimmer, made the finals in the 200m free, 100m back and 100m fly.
He swam to a fifth place in the 200m free and 12th place finishes in the other two races.
Rohan Jacobs made the final in the 50m fly and, like Chambers, finished 12th in the country.
Georgia Pengilly also had some strong swims representing the KWIC in Winnipeg.
