This is the first indoor Fall Closet Cleanout in almost two years , with new guidelines in place to bring the event back inside.
The Great Closet Cleanout is a second hand shopping experience, where individuals can purchase gently used decor and ladies clothing.
Running on Oct. 23 from 10am to 2pm at the Kanata Hotel, this event will support The Bridge Youth and Family Services with a portion of the proceeds, and all leftover clothing going to Mamas for Mamas.
“We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with events and markets slowly returning to normal.” said Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown, producer of the Great Closet Cleanout. “Here is a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe with new to you ladies’ shoes, clothing, and accessories; while supporting several local charities!”
Entry is $5 with a portion of the proceeds going to The Bridge Youth and Family Services to help them build the Youth Recovery House.
Swag bags are also up for grabs to the first 100 people and a chance to win a selection of door prizes will be available!
The ladies fashion flea market will continue to use enhanced COVID-19 protocols, and there will be extra space between tables, one way traffic, regulated attendance and sanitizing stations will be added.
Masks and vaccine passports will be required following the Public Health Order.
