Another two COVID-19 exposures at Central Okanagan public school have been confirmed by Interior Health.
The latest come at École Dr. Knox Middle in Kelowna and Mount Boucherie Secondary in West Kelowna.
All affected parties are self-isolating at home with support from local public health teams and IH is following up with anyone potentially exposed to a confirmed case directly through contact tracing.
“The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remains our highest priority,” said a statement from School District 23.
“(SD23) will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”
The school district said it will continue to work closely with the health authority to determine if additional actions are required and to support ongoing communication with the affected school communities.
As always, people are urged to stay home from school or work if they show any symptoms of COVID-19.
A full list of public school COVID-19 exposures is available on the IH website.
