Water main break closes Yew Street and portion of Mackenzie Avenue

Kamloops residents should be aware of multiple traffic changes in the city today.

According to the City, a water main break has completely closed Yew Street as well as the one-way portion of Mackenzie Avenue.

The closures have resulted in emergency detours being set up. Transit Route #2 is the only bus affected.

Part of Yew Street had already been closed for construction work earlier this year.
