UPDATE: RCMP find woman who went missing earlier this month

(UPDATE: Dec. 77 @ 3:27 pm) – Melissa Hillis has been located safe and sound.

The 36-year-old woman was last seen in the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 2.

However, she was located shortly after on Sunday, Dec. 5.

The Kamloops RCMP thank the public for their assistance.


(Original Story: Dec. 3 @ 2:30 pm) – Police in Kamloops are on the lookout for a missing woman in the community.

According to RCMP, Melissa Hillis was last seen in the River City sometime during the late afternoon of Dec. 2.

Hillis is described as a 36-year-old Caucasian woman who stands at 5'8" and weighs 220 pounds. She has very dark, long hair, blue eyes and a broken tooth.

She also has several tattoos, which are located on her collar bone, arms and legs.
