Lynx brought to BC Wildlife Park after being captured in Kamloops now in stable condition

The BC Wildlife Park released some happy news regarding a lynx that was brought to the rehabilitation centre earlier this week.

According to the park, the female lynx is in stable condition and the rehab team is optimistic about her recovery. The animal was originally brought to the park on Thursday after it was captured wandering residential streets in Kamloops.

"We appreciate the BCCOS bringing this female lynx to the BC Wildlife Park where she'll continue to rest," wrote the park. "At this time, she remains stable, and our rehabilitation team is optimistic about her recovery.

At this point, the park has not mentioned if and when the animal would be released back into the wild.
