Tacos, meatballs, shepherd’s pie and plenty more is back on the menu for those who don’t eat meat.
At last, Beyond Meat has made its Beyond Beef available in Canadian grocery stores.
“Beyond Beef is designed to look, cook and taste like ground beef and Canada is the first market to receive it outside of the US,” says a statement from Beyond Meat.
“Made from simple, plant-based ingredients without GMOs, soy or gluten, Beyond Beef delivers the culinary versatility, juicy flavour and meaty texture of traditional ground beef.”
Like Beyond Meat’s other products, Beyond Beef matches the nutritional profile of its animal protein equivalent.
That includes 18 grams of protein per 100g serving, more iron, 35% less saturated fat, less total fat, no cholesterol, antibiotics or hormones.
You’ll now find Beyond Beef at grocery stories nationwide alongside Beyond Meat’s popular plant-based burger.
You can also find Beyond Meat’s products in plenty of restaurants, including A&W, Tim Hortons, Quesada, Mucho Burrito, Earl’s, White Spot and more.
