Interior Health is coming close to a major vaccine milestone

Interior Healths #journey2immunity campaign has been running smoothly as the region has administered 969,810 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This includes 557,598 of first doses and 412,212 of second doses.

“Our COVID-19 immunization campaign is nearing the incredible milestone of one million doses,” said Interior Health president and CEO Susan Brown. “I want to thank the teams throughout IH for their incredible efforts at deploying this vaccine throughout the region and I especially want to thank everyone who have protected themselves from COVID-19 by getting vaccinated.”

The Interior’s vaccine rollout has been a coordinated effort between Interior Health and the First Nations Health Authority.

“For anyone who has not had the chance to get immunized, it’s not too late,” added Brown.

If you’re looking to get your first or second dose you can drop in to any IH immunization clinics or by making an appointment here.
