Another 131 cases of COVID-19 were identified in the BC Interior over the three-day weekend reporting period.
It brings the region to 11,425 total cases since the start of the pandemic, with 461 currently active.
There are 26 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the BC Interior and 12 of them are in critical care.
Due to data issues on the BC Centre for Disease Control’s COVID-19 dashboard, we haven’t reported on pandemic deaths since last Wednesday.
Since then, nine BC Interior residents have died of COVID-19, which includes a person in their 40s who died over the weekend, health officials confirmed today.
