A powerful earthquake has struck near the Mexican resort of Acapulco. The magnitude-seven quake led to power cuts in several states in the country.

2. Huge crowds come out for Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro attracted huge crowds amid rallies across the country on Tuesday. He told supporters in Sao Paulo that "only God" could remove him from power.

3. Woman, 19, sues authorities after learning she was swapped at birth

A 19-year-old woman has demanded compensation after learning she was swapped at birth with another baby. The woman was accidentally confused with another baby born on the same day near Bilbao in Spain.

4. Trial over jihadist mass murder in Paris begins

A trial has begun in France to get to the bottom of the 2015 Paris mass murder committed by Muslim fanatics. The terrorist slaughter, in which 130 people were murdered, was the worst atrocity in France since the end of the Second World War.

5. Britney Spears' father files to end conservatorship

Britney Spears' father has filed for the termination of his 13-year conservatorship over his daughter's affairs. Jamie Spears filed the papers in court in Los Angeles.
