Brenton Tarrant appeared in New Zealand’s High Court via video on Thursday to enter a plea regarding the March 15 terror attack on two Christchurch mosques. He pleaded not guilty to all 92 charges, which includes 51 charges of murder. He’ll now wait some time before his trial begins in May 2020.

Taylor Swift fans certainly had a good day on Thursday. The pop star announced that her new album Lover would be coming out later this summer, on Aug. 23, and she also shared one of the album’s singles. The song, “You Need To Calm Down,” addresses homophobia, pitting women against one another and more.

Cuba Gooding Jr. surrendered to the NYPD on Thursday after he was accused of groping a pair of women. One complaint was from this past weekend and it led to a second woman filing a similar complaint. The actor’s lawyer said Gooding Jr. is “frisky, but he’s not inappropriate.”

The Golden State Warriors received even more brutal injury news on Thursday. Three days after Kevin Durant’s major achilles injury, Klay Thompson went down in game six and was unable to return. The team has now confirmed that Thompson suffered a torn ACL, an injury that will likely keep him out for at least half of next season.
