On Thursday, Michael Gargiulo was found guilty of murder in the stabbing death of two women, as well as the attempted murder of another. One of the 43-year-old’s victims, Ashley Ellerin, was dating Ashton Kutcher at the time of her death. Ellerin was getting ready for a night out when she was stabbed to death by the ‘Hollywood Ripper’ on Feb. 21, 2001.

Paolo Bandini is now Nicky Bandini. The sports journalist who covers football, both kinds, for The Guardian came out with some major news today. She revealed that the has been transitioning from a man into a woman and would now be known as Nicky, but it wouldn’t change a thing about her work. Her announcement was met by an outpouring of love and support.

If you think about the Counting Crows, chances are you’ll think about frontman Adam Duritz and his signature dreadlocks. You may still think that, but Duritz is now bald after shaving his head this week, which has certainly caught some fans off guard. People even made tributes to the dreads, but what else would you expect from the internet.

A rally in New Hampshire for President Donald Trump was interrupted by a protester on Thursday. Trump wasn’t having any of it and threw a couple of remarks the protester’s way as he was escorted out of the venue. “That guy has a serious weight problem,” Trump said. “Go home, start exercising.”

As tensions continue to flare up in Hong Kong, the French Spiderman has returned to action. After being banned from climbing in Hong Kong last August, Alain Robert joked that he’d be back on day 366. Apparently he wasn’t joking because he scaled a tower on Friday morning to hang a banner urging peace between Hong Kong and China.
