Just two days after the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris went up in flames, a similar fate almost came upon a cathedral in New York. A man reportedly walked into St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York with two gasoline cans, two bottles of lighter fluid and two lights on Wednesday. With Vancouver facing its weakest home sales in some time, homeowners are struggling to rent out some of the city’s nicest mansions. Homes worth more than $3-million are being rented out for as low as $3,500, which has groups of college kids pouncing at the opportunity. A bizarre story out of rural Virginia is getting a lot of attention on Twitter, but it does have a happy ending. Franklin Hardy explains that his dad was told by his vet over the phone that his dog would need to be put down. The dad started to dig the poor puppy’s grave, but the dog was watching him do it! Thankfully, when the vet arrived at the house to do the deed, he realized the health scare was a false alarm and the dog had a new lease on life.
The vet told my dad on the phone (??) that his dog had to be put down and he’d come to his house and do it. My dad dug the dog’s grave AND LET THE DOG WATCH. Then the vet came and checked the dog and said it was a false alarm. Oops! Dog’s fine! Everything about this is insane. pic.twitter.com/sFXKVDk5Vz
