Rain in the valley means good things are happening at Big White.
That was the case once again overnight, resulting in a fresh 6 centimetres of snow up at the mountain.
It may have some thinking about starting their long weekend even earlier!
Despite being more than halfway through April, the alpine snow base is at 210 cm and there are 78 runs open at Big White.
Currently, it’s 2°C with light winds, scattered cloud and limited visibility.
With more rain in the forecast at lower elevations, there’s a chance the snow continues at Big White over the next 48 hours.
