Soccer legend Diego Maradona has died aged 60.
The troubled Argentina maestro, widely considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game, had surgery on a blood clot in his brain earlier this month.
He was also being treated for alcohol dependency.
The attacker led his country to World Cup victory in 1986 and won Italian championships with Napoli.
He also played for Spanish giants Barcelona.
Much of his later career and retirement, however, was blighted by drug addiction.
He retired from playing in 1997 and took on a number of managerial positions, including at the Argentina national team during the 2010 World Cup.
