There were some scary moments at a Turkish airport over the weekend.
A Pegasus Airways Boeing 737-800, which had travelled from Ankara to Trabzon in Turkey, landed shortly before midnight on Saturday, but it wasn’t your typical landing.

The plane, which was carrying 162 passengers and six crew members, veered left shortly after hitting the runway.
Unfortunately for the plane, a cliff leading down to the Black Sea is directly left of the runway and the aircraft toppled over the edge.
It made it halfway down the cliff to the water, about 60 metres from the runway itself, before coming to a precarious stop.

According to the Aviation Herald, the aircraft was successfully evacuated and there were no injuries reported.
The aircraft also escaped the incident with minimum damage,
The incident is now under investigation, but initial reports are blaming a wet runway, which slowed down deceleration.
