A local realtor witnessed quite the treat when she decided to head home for her lunch break earlier this week.
Keri Burgart says she was making a sandwich at home on Tuesday afternoon when she looked through her window and saw something moving in her neighbour’s yard.
It didn’t take her long to realize what was going on.
“I noticed the mama bear right away, then saw the three cubs trailing behind heading to our backyard,” she told NowMedia.
Burgart didn’t just start filming right away, however, as she wanted to make sure that nothing was standing in the bears’ way.
“I went out onto our upper deck to make sure the neighbour kids weren’t outside,” she explained. “Thankfully, they weren’t.”
With the coast clear, Burgart grabbed her phone and started filming as the bears made their way into her large yard and finally into the rocky area behind her property.
