In early 2019, Samsung is set to release a product unlike any other.
At the company’s developer conference today, the revolutionary piece of technology was unveiled and it’s making heads turn.
Infinity Flex Display plus One UI. 7.3" display then fold and use as a regular smartphone, then put it in your pocket. Use three apps at once. Supported by Google with new APIs. Wow. #SDC18 pic.twitter.com/tmcXt6svoN

“It’s a phone… It’s a tablet… It’s a phone that unfolds into a tablet!”
That was tweeted by the Samsung development team and it couldn’t be more accurate.
The new product can unfold like a book to be a 7.3-inch screen tablet, but it can also fold up into a pocket-size phone.

It’s not a “flip phone” either, as the screen will transform to the outside of the device when it’s folded up, making it like any other smartphone out there.
So whether you’re doing some work at home and need the size of a tablet or you’re on the go and need the slip the device in and out of your pocket, you’re covered either way.
We just announced support for foldables at #AndroidDevSummit, a new form factor coming next year from Android partners.

Sadly, Samsung didn’t give much more information on the flip phone tablet, but Android did say the device had it’s support.
“Android apps run seamlessly as the device folds, achieving this form factor’s chief feature: screen continuity,” said a tweet.
