(UPDATE: March 12, 2018 @ 9:50 a.m.) - Police are continuing the search for 9-year-old Emerson Cusworth, who is believed to be with his mother, 34-year-old Shawana Chaudhary.
Chaudhary has allegedly abducted her son, contrary to a court-imposed custody order.
The father called police after he went to pick up his son on Friday after school, as per his court-ordered parenting time, but Emerson was not there.
Investigators have provided an updated photo of Emerson, and note that it is possible that his hair is dyed now and his appearance has changed. It is also possible that Chaudhary will have changed her appearance.
The last confirmed sighting of the boy was with his mother and his sister on Friday morning.
Chaudhary may be using her previous legal name, Virginia Leeman, which police say could also be spelled Virginia Leman.

Vancouver Police are looking for a Vancouver woman, who allegedly abducted her 9-year-old son on Friday, contrary to a court-imposed custody order.
Shawana Chaudhary may be traveling with her son, Emerson Cusworth, and her 6-year-old daughter.
Police believe Chaudhary made plans to be away from home for an extended period and may be traveling with the two children and one or two dogs. There is no indication that either child has been harmed or is in imminent danger.
Police say that Chaudhary is 34-years-old, and appears South Asian.
She is 5’8 tall, weighs about 106 lbs, with long dark hair and dark eyes. Emerson is 9-years-old, appears South Asian, weighs about 55 lbs, with short black hair and dark eyes.
Police are not releasing additional information about the daughter at this time as there is no information to suggest that she is the subject of a court order.
