One-day water disruption happens this week in southeast Kelowna

The city is advising non-potable water customers in southeast Kelowna of a temporary water shut off happening this week.

Crews will be doing an “emergency” valve replacement to accommodate peak irrigation flow.

“The City of Kelowna apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your understanding during this work,” the city says.

A news release says residents and agricultural customers will not have water access to their non-potable irrigation systems on Thursday.

The one-day disruption will impact properties in the northeast area, highlighted in the picture below.
