One of those firefighters is Jason Mile, from the Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue in Trail.

Milne has been sharing footage of the flooding and some rescue efforts that he’s been a part of through Twitter, and it really shows the magnitude of the situation.

The footage shows firefighters carrying a man out of his home to safety, rescuing a horse that was in waist high waters and also a general patrol of the flooded area.
